Our Story

Russell Trahearn founded RT Sweeper Services in 2010 backed with 20 years of experience within the industry. The fascination with road sweepers began within the family run business in 1990, which became a leading hire company in the Midlands specializing in Johnston and Beam road sweepers and is now part of a successful national hire company.

Working within the family business and having also worked for Scarab Sweepers for 4 years has enabled RT Sweeper Services to give the highest standard of support to councils and contractors around the UK to both Scarab and Johnston fleets.

Being able to offer support to operators of the leading sweeper manufactures in the UK and keeping fleets on the road at the most competitive price is what RT Sweeper Services has built its business on, offering a “can do” approach to its customers has gained repeat contracts and a reputation of excellence within the industry.
